My sweet Melody turns 11.

Tuesday, May 29, 2018

Hello, my sweet bloggers <3

Things have changed since the last time I was around here, all for good but nonetheless in the midst of change fear loves to be a friend and that can be a little scary -- no worries though, I've found the one whose light make fear tremble, so I'm all good. --  Some people have wondered if I'm still taking pictures or if I'm working. Truth is, YES I AM! I'm still a photographer/videographer but as you already know that is not all I am. It is my job but it's not who I am and my priorities in life have kept me busy and away from blogging. -- Right now I'm listening to the song This Is Me, from the soundtrack to the movie The Greatest Showman. Melody loves this soundtrack so we can listen to it for days nonstop. It is her theme party so it's perfect for my blogging.  Right next to me, I have my sweet little boy Matthew, he's just waiting for me to get off the computer so he can play Roblox. Melody is washing the dishes and my oldest is cleaning his room. - Daddy says it's cleaning day so we can enjoy the rest of this short holiday at peace. - (sigh) I know I'm not the best mommy but I sure try. -- I AM A MOM and I love it, a hundred times yes to that.

Melody's birthday was on the 23rd, and since she is the one who inspired and motivated me to start photography I figured I would blog about her.  It can sound a little cliche that I describe her by the things she likes which can be pretty common with the girls her age -- so I will describe her for what she is for me. (Before I start I have to say she makes justice to her name because she is constantly singing around the house especially when she is happy.)

Farmin' lovin' -- FALL DATES UPDATE.

Monday, November 13, 2017

Pumpkins and the smell of apple covered with caramel surrounded us that day, the sound of children with their families did not bother them. It was as if they were the only 2 in the whole farm.  They married a few years ago but lived on different continents for most of their marriage as of now.  Margarita was so excited to live this moment because they didn't get the chance to have an engagement session.  They laughed and held each other so tight because distance was defeated.
Being committed to a long-distance relationship was not easy, she packed her bags after everything cleared for her to come to the states and together they moved to Jersey.  Pumpkins and the smell of apple candy are the scents of their new hometown in the fall, a place they’ve grown to love and call their own.

Really...HOME is where they are together.

Fall looks and feels like the 4th of July, doesn't it?
If you made the mistake of wearing jeans today like me. I'm sorry, I need to remind my self to check the weather everytime I leave my home. - As matter of fact yesterday I had a session and was sweating so hard my client said wait "are you ok?" and I responded with a, "Excuse me while I grab a cold drink and stay in the cooler for 30 min" - SO HOT! - Not complaining just saying, guys.

The pictures you see here were taken last year. Lauren and his family are too adorable - The little guy has a big personality and loves to laugh, no need for tickling. LOL!  Overall a great shoot and I wanted to share it with you.

Summer Love - Elmer & Marisol

Tuesday, July 19, 2016

FROM the moment I received Marisol's message on my FB page.  I knew she had impecable taste.  She knew what she wanted, how and where.  We were going to team up to capture her vision and I couldn't be more excited.  Clients like her make me love more what I do.

It was a windy day at the beach with a toddler and if you are mom you know exactly what that means.  From time to time it got a little sandy but Marisol and Elmer have such a calm, sweet spirit, it was easy to take a break and regroup with no problem.   I will say though, that they had their entourage behind the scenes...AKA  "uncle Dani" who kept us smiling and laughing...kudos to you Dany, you will be a great dad some day.  Sweet Sophia was so precious, she didn't even cry and was so curious to touch the sand.  Beautiful baby!

ELMER & MARISOL

Thanks so much for making me part of this magical day.  I'm so lucky to have captured the love you have for each other and for Sophia.  My wish is for you to always find your way back to each other after looking at this precious pictures.  Congratulations on your engagement.

To my amazing blogger lovers...he he!  Thanks so much, you're encouraging words are always appreciated.  Please don't forget to give us a like on FACEBOOK and with all the darkness in this world don't forget to share the love.
