Cristina Sweet Quinceañera

Monday, July 8, 2013
Hello! I know it's been sometime, but did I tell you I have 3 kids? and they are off school for summer? haha! I know what you're thinking this is not good excuse,  but I will use this excuse until my last one is 18! haha! The truth is that she wanted to keep everything secret until the day of her birthday.
Cristina is such a sweet girl. Once her mom hired me to be her photographer, she shared with me her color theme for her birthday party, which was yellow. The moment she said yellow I knew where to take care. On my way to work I had seen this beautiful yellow bushes. I think they are called Yellow Bell Bushes, anyways I thought it was perfect, and I think it just added such a great touch to the portraits.  You can see the great result I had.

Once her mom saw the pictures she asked me use those for her invitation. I wish I had taken a picture of the final result, with the paper card and envelope, but I didn't have my camera closed by when I picked up the printed work from the publisher. I do have the digital work, and here it is.

After our first location, she change into a beautiful purple gown, and we headed to have more fun in our second location. It was a little chilly, but she was a pro posing for every single shot. I was very proud of her.  Isn't she a doll?

I used all these pictures to portray them in a large poster in the reception hall. I think it just customizes the whole party, and shows off the Quinceañera's beauty.

Her birthday party was a success and here is a little preview of her special day. I will create a blog for it don't worry about it. I'm just waiting for her to pick her favorite pictures. As for me I will start saving for my little Quinceañera's birthday party, because phew!! That was some intense work for the Mommy. Thanks for sharing, and liking this page. If you need to book me for your party don't hesitate to call 908-561-2491. Thank again.

Father & Son

When Edwin informed me that he wanted me to take pictures of him and his son, I got very exited, and felt very flattered.  I know Edwin since he was 6 years old, and I know many photographers can relate with me, when someone that is not a stranger but a close friend appreciates your work, and is willing to pay for it.  So, before I go on, I want to take the time to thank Edwin for counting with me to take this pictures.  Gracias Mijo!

Once I got the news, I started thinking "location, location, location" I had seen an abandoned factory, and thought that was a perfect place for us. Unfortunately less than 10 min into the photoshoot, we had a very angry lady come up the driveway and tell us that the was her property. We explained we meant no harm, and after yelling at us, I guess she felt bad and let us continue working for a few more minutes. We decided it was best to leave,  but I was able to capture some great shots.  I know! Bummer!

Right after that we headed to our next location. We had so much fun playing with this little guy. At first he was a bit shy, but after a while he started getting comfortable around the camera. Isn't he a cutie?

The relationship these two have is to admire. They are best friends and love each other so much. I really wanted to capture that in each picture. I think I came pretty close.

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to like! :D
